Hey guys! I'm in Boise right now and I'm getting ready for tonight's show. It's coming starting pretty soon haha. I just wanted to let you guys know that tonight is the last show I'm doing with Lesley unfortunately :(. She's been so much fun to go on tour with! I'm really going to miss her. Her band has been really cool too. So I hope you guys have really enjoyed Lesley at the shows, because I sure have. I hope you guys keep up with what is going on with her too, and show her some love. She loves peanut m&m's by the way, so if you ever think about getting her anything... haha. She likes vests and the color purple too. But anyway, just wanted to say that Lesley's been awesome, and I'm sooo glad she was willing to join me on my solo tour. Well I better head out now, the show's starting soon. Hola chicos! Estoy en Boise y me estoy preparando para el show de esta noche. Que va a empezar muy pronto haha. Sólo quería hacerles saber que esta noche es el último show que estoy haciendo con Lesley desafortunadamente : (. Ha sido muy divertido ir de gira con ella! Realmente la voy a extrañar. Su banda ha sido muy cool tambien. Así que espero que ustedes hayan disfrutado a Lesley en los shows, aunque de seguro lo han hecho. Espero que sigan pendientes de lo que está pasando con ella también, y le muestren su amor. Ella ama los M & M's de mani por cierto, por si alguna vez piensan darle algo .... jaja. A ella le gustan los chalecos y el color morado también. Pero de todos modos, sólo quería decir que Lesley sido impresionante, y me alegro de que haya estado dispuesta a unirse a mí en mi gira en solitario . Hey everyone. It's David checking in from the road. We're in Texas for our 2 smallest shows capacity-wise haha. I was able to watch American Idol since we have tivo on the bus! I am really impressed with the people they have this season. Some of the performances that stood out to me were Adam Lambert's and Danny Gokey's performances. I also really liked Matt Giraud's performance. There were honestly a lot of good ones haha. Allison Iraheta blew me away with her voice. I can't believe she's only 16! I'm really looking forward to what else she is going to do. Then Alexis Grace's performance of Dirty Diana I thought was really cool too, even if Simon said it was a little too much. I liked how you could tell she was really getting into it. Ok I know that I could keep going on with everyone's performances because I really liked a lot of them as you could tell haha. But I don't want to ramble on either, since there are a lot of people to talk about. Black or White and Human Nature are 2 of my favorite Michael Jackson songs, so I was really happy to hear those. I guess I'll focus on those 2 then, even though it's not like I've picked any favorites, you know? I'm probably not making much sense. But anyway, I agreed with Simon on what he said about Adam's song. Even though people think he can be a little over the top, he needed that to pull off Black or White. I think he did awesome, and definitely grabbed everyone's attention. That's what you need to do, and that's what he did lol. For Matt's performance it was the first time I had ever seen him perform, and I thought it was awesome how he played piano with that soulful vibe he has to him. It wasn't as big and powerful as some of the other performances, but I think it showed who Matt was and what he was all about really well. He did a good job making the song his own, and I just love that song lol. Well I'd like to go on about each person, but I just don't want to go on not making much sense. So I'll try and write about some of the performances that stood out to me next week. I'm excited to see everyone perform next week! Oh, before I finish I just wanted to say it was cool to see Kanye and Kelly perform during the results show. I love Kanye's creative mind and how he experiments with things. He and Michael Jackson are like geniuses with music in my opinion. With Kelly, she is just an amazing singer and I love her single lol. Fun stuff.... Well I'm going to head out now, but I'll talk to you guys later.

Song for the day: Along with Black or White and Human Nature, I'm going to add Man in the Mirror. There are so many great Michael Jackson songs really, but Man in the Mirror is one that just hits you hard and really gets you thinking. It's one my little brother used to sing when he was little haha.

LIVE FROM VIRGINIA

Hey everyone!

I'm reporting from Virginia, where we have our first 2 tour shows! Really exciting stuff. I'm really nervous! Ah! But I can't wait at the same time! We've been practicing and practicing and practicing. It's so weird to go on my very own tour, it doesn't feel real! But anyway haha. I'll tell you about the last week.

So the last week has basically been me and the new band getting ready for tour. They're all really fun to work with and really talented. It's fun just hanging out with them and we have a good time rehearsing, even though it's a lot of work. When we rehearse, it's basically just running through all the songs all day long lol. We try to tweak them, and see what we can add to it to make it more fun. It'll be fun to just get out there and sing, and I think you guys will have fun listening to the new songs from the album! I'm excited to perform them. Some of the songs are really high though, and I have no idea how I hit them... But I manage to lol. When I recorded some of the songs, like Running, Barriers, Crush, A Little Too Not Over You, I was thinking... "How the heck I was going to be able to sing them?!?" But I always managed to somehow haha. And the more you push yourself, (But not in a way you hurt your voice. It's more like you go for things you were afraid of doing and sing with confidence! haha) you become more comfortable. And the more you practice those scary songs, you find a comfortable place to sing them that you never knew about before. But yeah there's my little thought for the day I wanted to share I guess.

Another thing that happened over the last week is I went to LA to film my guest appearance on Hannah Montana haha. It was another thing I was really nervous about and wasn't really sure about at first. However, once I got there I had a great time! Everyone there was fun and Miley was a cool person to hang out with. She has a lot of energy and is really funny haha. Getting to watch how they rehearsed the scenes for the show was really cool too. It's always interesting to see the behind-the-scenes things. I've never really watched the show before, but it was sooo funny watching the other scenes! I think it'll be fun to see how the whole show runs altogether, because it was just cool to see how great of actors the other kids were. Anyhow, I better get to rehearsing for the big day tomorrow! I'll talk to you guys later! Ah! I'm pretty pumped for tomorrow! Let me know if you're going to the Virginia Beach or Richmond shows ok? EN VIVO DESDE VIRGINIA

Hola a todos!

Me estoy reportando desde Virginia, donde seran los primeros 2 shows del tour! Muy emocionante. Estoy muy nervioso! ah! Pero no puedo esperar al mismo tiempo! Hemos estado practicando y practicando y practicando. Es tan raro tener mi propio tour, no se siente real! Pero bueno! jaja. Les contare acerca de la semana pasada.

Bueno la semana pasada nos ha tenido a mi y a la nueva banda preparandonos para el tour. Es muy divertido trabajar con ellos y son muy talentosos. es divertido pasar el tiempo con ellos y la pasamos bien ensayando, a pesar de que es mucho trabajo. Cuando ensayamos, es basicamente recorrer todas las canciones todo el dia. Tratamos de afinarlas, y ver que podemos añadirles para hacerlo mas divertido. Sera divertido el solo hecho de salir y cantar, y pienso que ustedes se divertiran escuchando las nuevas canciones del album! Estoy emocionado por interpretarlas. Algunas de las canciones son bastante altas, y no tengo idea como llegarles... Pero lo manejare. Cuando grabe algunas de las canciones, como Running, Barriers, Crush, A Little too Not Over You, estaba pensando... "Como diablos sere capaz de cantarlas?!? Pero siempre lo manejo de alguna manera jaja. Y mientras mas te presiones (Pero no de manera que hieras tu voz: Es mas como que vas por las cosas que tenias miedo de hacer y cantas con confianza! jaja) te vuelves mas confiado. Y mientras mas practiques esas canciones que asustan, encontraras un lugar comodo para cantarlas del cual no sabias antes. Pero si ese es mi pequeño pensamiento del dia que quise compartir supongo.

Otra cosa que sucedio durante esta ultima semana es que fui a Los Angeles para grabar mi aparicion como invitado en Hannah Montana jaja. Fue otra de las cosas por las que estaba muy nervioso y no estaba muy seguro al respecto al principio. sin embargo, una vez que llegue alli lo pase muy bien! Todos fueron divertidos y Miley es una persona cool para pasar el rato. Ella tiene mucha energia y es muy graciosa jaja. Ver como ellos ensayaban las escenas para el show fue muy cool tambien. Siempre es interesante ver el trascamaras de las cosas. Nunca vi el show antes, pero fue muy gracioso ver las otras escenas! Pienso que sera divertido ver como quedara el show completo, porque fue cool ver lo buenos actores que fueron los otros chicos. De todos modos, mejor me voy a ensayar para el gran dia de mañana! Hablaremos luego! Ah! Estoy muy bombeado por mañana! Haganme saber si van a ir al Virginia Beach o al show de Richmond ok? Pueden hacerme saber si van a alguno de los otros shows de esta semana tambien. Paz!

Hawaii, American Idol & New Orleans

Hey guys! So I'm going to try and summarize this week since it was a pretty crazy one. We were able to look around the island of Oahuand do a lot of neat things there. We first went to the Sea LifePark and saw a dolphin show there. Then, we went to the PolynesianCultural Center for a luau and saw the incredible show about allthe different cultures of the Islands. Some other things we got todo were have shaved ice at Matsumoto's, go to the Dole PineapplePlantation, a macadamian nut store, and see a few beaches. we had a really really good time, and I have fallen in love with Hawaii. I want to go back soon! It's funny because even when it was like70 degrees, people who lived there were saying it was cold haha. Iloved it.

After we left Hawaii, we went to Orlando for the premiere of theAmerican Idol Experience at Disney World. It felt like a family reunion with so many past idol contestants. All 7 winners werethere, and Melinda, Phil, Lakisha,Sanjaya, Brooke, and a bunch of other people were there too haha. My older sister came down for the event, and my cousins werealready in that area because it was my grandma's birthday that sameday. So they got to come too! It was a reunion with the AmericanIdol family, and my real family. the American Idol Experience wasso cool too! It was freakishly similar to the real stage, and Ithink it's way cool how people can get a chance to see what it'slike to be in our shoes up on stage performing or watching the showlive. We got to ride the rides after doing press. Man so much totalk about! But I don't want to make this a novel lol.

The final thing I'm going to talk about is my first time going toNew Orleans. I was there to be in the Caesar Parade on Valentine'sDay, and that was way cool. I got to throw tons and tons of beadsto people. The night I got there, I was able to eat dinner with Gavin Degraw and Tony Orlando, who are like 2 of the coolest and nicest people you could ever know. We ate at a restaurant called Impastato's, and oh my heck! It was AMAZING! It was so good we went to eat there the next day lol. But Tony and Gavin were to performing in New Orleans too. Tony already performed that night,but Gavin was performing the next day so we went to see him perform. He was great. After him though.... I had a big surpriselol. We didn't know that Sara Bareilles was going to be on afterhim!! I couldn't believe that I was going to see Sara Bareilleswithout even planning on it or knowing she was there! Haha it wasso cool! She's sooo good live too. I got a chance to talk to herand she was talking about how nice my fans were. So thanks to allof you guys!! I thought that was so cool of her to mention that,and how we could both agree on that. But anyway, I was reallyhappy haha. The parade was right after that, and it was neatbecause we had police escorts to take us where we needed to go. When we got to the float is was crazy how many people were askingfor autographs lol. I wasn't expecting so many of them. But yeah,the parade started and it began to rain. I like the rain though soI didn't mind too much. I was just hoping I didn't get sick haha. It was way fun though!

Hola chicos! Voy a tratar de resumir esta semana ya que ha sido un poco loca. Pudimos ver la isla de Oahu y hacer muchas cosas ahí. Primero fuimos al Sea Life Park y vimos un show de delfines. Luego, fuimos al Polynesian Cultural Center por un “luau” y ver el increíble show acerca de las diferentes culturas de las Islas. Algunas cosas más que pudimos hacer fueron tener un hielo rallado en Marsumoto, ir a la plantación de Piñas, una tienda de fruta seca, y ver algunas playas. La pasamos muy pero muyy bien, me enamore de Hawaii. Quiero regresar muy pronto! Es gracioso porque a pesar que estaba como a unos 70 grados, la gente de ahí decían que hacia frío jaja. Me encanta.

Después de Hawai, fuimos a Orlando para la Inauguracion de American Idol Experience en Disney World. Lo senti como una reunión familiar con tantos antiguos participantes. Todos los 7 ganadores estuvieron ahí y Melinda, Phil, Lakisha, Sanjaya, Brooke, y un montón de personas más estaban ahí también jaja. Mi hermana mayor fue al evento, y mis primos estaban ya por ahí porque el mismo día era el cumpleaños de mi abuela. Así que ellos fueron también! Fue una reunión con mi familia de American Idol, y mi familia real. American Idol Experience estuvo muy divertido! Era muy parecido al real escenario, y creo que es muy cool que la gente tenga la oportunidad de ver que se siente estar en nuestros zapatos en el escenario cantando o ver el show en vivo. Tuvimos que subir a las atracciones después de estar con la prensa. Mucho que contar de eso! Pero no quiero hacer de esto una novela lol.

La última cosa que voy a contarles es acerca de mi primera vez en New Orleáns. Estuve para estar en Parada Caesar por Día de San Valentín, y fue muy divertido. Tuve que arrojar un montón, montón de collares a las personas. La noche que llegue, pude comer con Gavin Degraw y Tony Orlando, quienes son 2 de las mas buenas y divertidas personas que puedas conocer. Comimos en un restaurante llamado Impastato, y por Dios! Estuvo INCREIBLE! Fue tan bueno que fuimos a comer ahí el dia siguiente lol. Pero Tony y Gavin iban a presentarse en New Orleáns también. Tony ya se había presentado esa noche, pero Gavin se iba a presentar el siguiente dia asi que fuimos a verlo. Estuvo muy bien, Después de el… tuve una gran sorpresa lol. No sabíamos que Sara Bareilles iba a estar después de el!! No podía creer que iba a ver a Sara Bareilles sin haberlo planeado o saber que ella estaba ahí! Jaja fue muy divertido! Ella es muuuuuuuuy buena en vivo también. Tuve la oportunidad de hablar con ella y ella estaba hablando acerca de lo lindo que son mis fans. Así que gracias a todos ustedes chicos!! Pensé que fue muy cool de ella mencionar eso, y como nosotros podemos estar de acuerdo en eso. Estaba muy alegre jaja. La parada fue justo después de eso, y estaba muy ordenado porque teníamos a una escolta de policías que nos llevaba donde necesitábamos ir. Cuando llegamos al flotador fue loco la cantidad de gente que pedía autógrafos lol. No esperaba muchos. Pero si, la parada comenzó y empezó a llover. Me gusta la lluvia así que me daba igual. Solo esperaba no enfermarme jaja. Aunque fue muy divertido!

HAWAII
Aloha! I'm here in sunny Hawaii, and it's so nice here. I sang at the Pro Bowl yesterday, and that was way cool. Enrique Iglesias and Ciara sang during the halftime, and that was fun to watch because we got to watch from the field. I didn't get a chance to talk to Ciara, but Enrique was a cool guy. He's tall though! I didn't realize how tall he was. He's 6 ft. 2 in. haha. But anyway, the day before the Pro Bowl performance I sang at Ohana Day where people can watch the players practice. I sang A Little Too Not Over You, and it went well. Today we're going to try and look around the island and be tourists haha. It's so beautiful here, and I forgot how much I miss hot humid weather. It's been a long time since I haven't worn a scarf and jacket, because even last year during spring and summer we were always inside cold studios or arenas. Oh you know what's funny is while I was in the LAX airport for my layover, I ran into Cook and his gang. We were in the same gate area haha. Only he was headed to Florida, and I was leaving Florida.So before we went to Hawaii, I was in Florida doing promo.What was shocking is how cold it was there! I didn't think I'd have to wear a jacket and scarf there, but it felt like Utah weather at some points. It was really fun traveling around though, and I got to see my family when we were in Central Florida. I also got to visit a Children's Hospital in Daytona Beach, that they called Speediatrics haha. It was really neat. But I'll be heading back to Florida after Hawaii for the Disney thing this week, so I'm excited! I've been trying to not adjust to Hawaiian time, because I'm already in the Florida time zone mode lol. But I can't wait for the Disney thing!This Saturday they showed the iCarly episode on Nickelodeon, so for those of you who watched it I hope you had fun! I had so much fun hanging with Miranda. Don't forget to watch this weekend too! I'll be performing A Little Too Not Over You this Saturday on Nickelodeon, so fun stuff. haha.All right, so before I close here, I just wanted to talk about the Grammy Awards! They were on the same day as the Pro Bowl, so I was keeping a little too busy to be able to watch it. But I had friends that were keeping me updated on what was going on haha.First off, I'd just like to congratulate all the winners and their successes. I was so excited to hear Adele won 2 Grammys for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance! She is truly amazing, and I'm so happy that she has gotten some more recognition for the quality of her music. It's sooo good. Well anyway, I better head out and get started with seeing more of Hawaii. I'll talk to you guys later and let you know how things went this week!

Brooke White was actually the person who introduced this song to me a while back, and inspired my love for Adele's stuff haha. Go Brooke!! HAWAII

Aloha! Estoy aquí en la soleada Hawai, y es tan bonito. Canté en el Pro Bowl el día de ayer, y fue super cool. Enrique Iglesias y Ciara cantaron durante el medio tiempo, y fue muy divertido mirarlos, porque los llegamos a ver desde la cancha. No tuve la oportunidad de hablar con Ciara, pero Enrique es un tipo genial. ¡Es muy alto! No me di cuenta de cómo era de alto. Tiene 6 pies y 2 pulgadas jaja. Pero de todos modos, el día antes de la presentación en el Pro Bowl en Ohana Day en donde la gente podía ver a los jugadores en la práctica. Yo canté A Little Too Not Over You, y fue bien. Hoy vamos a tratar de mirar por los alrededores de la isla y ser turistas jaja. Es tan hermoso aquí, y he olvidado lo mucho que extraño el clima caliente. Hace mucho tiempo que no he dejado de usar una bufanda y una chaqueta, porque incluso el año pasado durante la primavera y el verano todo estaba siempre frío dentro de los estudios o escenarios. Oh, saben que es gracioso que mientras estuve en el aeropuerto LAX, me encontré con Cook y su banda. Estábamos en la misma puerta de la zona jaja. Sólo que él se dirigia a Florida, y yo salía de Florida.Así que antes de salir a Hawai, estuve en Florida haciendo promoción.¡Qué chocante era el frío que hacía ahí! No creo que hubiera tenido que llevar una chaqueta y bufanda, pero se sentía como el clima de Utah en algunos puntos. Es muy divertido viajar, de todos modos, y vi a mi familia cuando estuvimos en Florida Central. También tienes que visité un hospital de niños en Daytona Beach, que se llama Speediatrics jaja. Fue realmente puro. Pero ¡ya regresaré a Florida después de Hawai para la cosa de Disney esta semana, así que estoy emocionado! He estado tratando de no ajustarme con el tiempo hawaiano, porque ya estaré en Florida, y su zona horaria lol. Pero no puedo esperar a lo de Disney! Este sábado se lanzó el episodio de iCarly en Nickelodeon, así que para aquellos que lo vieron espero que se hayan divertido! Me divertí tanto conversando con Miranda. No se olviden de ver este fin de semana también! Voy a presentar A Little Too Not Over You este sábado en Nickelodeon, asi que será divertido. Jaja.Muy bien, así que antes de terminar aquí, sólo quería hablar de los premios Grammy! Fueron el mismo día que el Pro Bowl, por lo que estuve un poco ocupado para poder verlo. Pero tengo amigos que me mantenían actualizado sobre lo que estaba pasando jaja.En primer lugar, sólo quiero felicitar a todos los ganadores y sus éxitos. Estaba tan emocionado de escuchar que Adele ganó 2 Grammy por Mejor Nuevo Artista y Mejor Rendimiento Vocal Pop Femenino! Ella es realmente asombrosa, y estoy tan feliz de que haya conseguido más reconocimiento por la calidad de su música. Es taaan bueno. Bueno de todos modos, lo mejor es salir y empezar a ver más de Hawai. Hablaré con ustedes después, y les haré saber cómo fueron las cosas esta semana!

Canción del día: Right As Rain - Adele Disculpen por poner a Adele de nuevo tan pronto, pero esta canción es lo maximo y ayer tuvo una gran noche jaja. Brooke White fue la persona que me dio a conocer esta canción hace un tiempo, y fue lo que inspiro mi amor por las cosas de Adele jaja. Arriba Brooke! Si no han oído Chasing Pavements de Adele aún, deberian escucharla también.

Heeey Eerrrrbody. I'm reporting from Florida today, and I'm having a grand time in my birth state haha. Last Saturday, both Mr. Cook and I got to perform at a corporate event for Primesource in Hollywood, Florida (Where I used to live!) I was nervous before I went on stage because it was the first time I'd done a set that long since my vocal chord paralysis issues a few years ago. I was hardly able to do 1 song after that happened, and so I was even nervous with the tour when I did 4 songs heh, just because I wasn't sure if my voice would be able to handle it. But I did 10 songs for the corporate event, and my voice was fine! It just made me feel really good to know how much my voice has improved since that whole weird thing. We had a lot of fun though, and Cook and his band were amazing as always. It was good to see him, because I haven't seen him in a while. It'll be fun to see more of the old gang at the Disney thing coming up in a couple of weeks. I took some pictures of Cook and his band from backstage, but they're really lame.... so... I'm not putting them up haha.When I got to my hotel room after the event, I made it just in time to watch Jason Mraz perform on SNL! He sang I'm Yours, which I don't think I'll ever get sick of hearing, and Lucky with Colbie Caillat. Good stuff. Anyway, Sunday was the day of the Superbowl.I wasn't able to watch it because I was speaking at a church fireside at the last minute around that same time period. However, on my way to the fireside I called my friend to listen to Jennifer Hudson sing the National Anthem over the phone lol. It was so good! Jennifer has pipes! I watched it on youtube later. It was Steelers vs. Cardinals, and the Steelers won. I still have to watch Bruce Springsteen perform during the halftime.So for the next little bit I'll be doing some promo in Florida.It's really nice to be in Florida right now, especially when it's snowing in Utah. Gotta love warm weather. I'll be going to Hawaii too to sing the National Anthem at the Pro Bowl, and it'll be my first time in Hawaii! Woot woot! That means more sunshine haha.Well I hope anyway... at least more hanging out in warmer regions.I'll let you know how that goes next week. But I better head out now. I'll let you know how the promo in Florida goes too! adios.

Desde Florida!

Hola a todosss. Me estoy reportando desde Florida hoy, y estoy pasandola muy bien en el estado donde naci jaja. El pasado sabado el Sr. Cook y yo fuimos a una presentacion en un evento corporativo para Primesource en Hollywood, Florida (donde yo solia vivir) Estaba nervioso antes de ir al escenario porque era la primera vez que hacia una actuacion tan larga desde mi paralisis de las cuerdas vocales hace unos años. Me era casi imposible cantar una cancion despues de que eso me sucedio, e incluso yo estaba nervioso durante el tour de American Idol cuando cante 4 canciones je, solo porque no estaba seguro de si mi voz iba a ser capaz de aguantarlo. Pero cante 10 canciones en el evento corporativo, y mi voz estubo bien! Me hizo sentir muy bien el saber como mi voz ha mejorado tanto desde que me ocurrio la paralisis. Nos divertimos mucho y Cook y su banda estubieron estupendos como siempre. Fue bueno verlo porque no lo veia desde hace un tiempo. Sera divertido ver a otros de los chicos en el evento de Disney que sera en un par de semanas. Tome algunas fotos de Cook y su banda desde atras del escenario pero no quedaron muy bien... asi que... no las publicare jaja. Cuando llegue a mi cuarto en el hotel despues del evento, llegue justo a tiempo para ver la actuacion de Jason Mraz en el SNL! El canto I'm Yours, la cual nunca me canso de escuchar y Lucky con Colbie Caillat. Buena musica. Bueno, el domingo fue el dia del superbowl. No pude verlo porque estaba en una iglesia hogar hablando de imprevisto y fue mas o menos en ese mismo perido de tiempo. Sin embargo de camino al hogar llame a un amigo para escuchar a Jennifer Hudson cantar el himno nacional al telefono! Fue muy bueno! Jennifer tiene un cañon! Lo vi en youtube despues! Fueron Steelers vs. Cardinals y gano Steelers. Todavia me falta ver la actuacion de Bruce Springsteen durante el medio tiempo. Por el momento estare haciendo promocion en Florida. Es super bien estar en Florida en estos momentos, especialmente cuando esta nevando en Utah. Amo el clima calido. Estare yendo pronto a Hawaii tambien a cantar el Himno nacional en el Pro Bowl, y sera mi primera vez en Hawaii!! Hurra Hurra! Eso significa mas resplandor del sol jaja. Bueno eso espero de todas formas... al menos pasar mas el tiempo en regiones calidas. Les hare saber como me fue la semana que viene. Pero mejor ya me voy. Les hare saber como va la promocion en Florida tambien! Adios!

Week of Updates

Hola. I'm updating on what's been going on again haha. So last week was pretty crazy! Monday was way fun with the Hard Rock Cafe performance! For those of you who went, I hope you had fun. I also accompanied myself on A Little Too Not Over You for the first time in New York for WPLJ. After New York, I went to LA to do some stuff for Build-A-Bear, and there were 2 other talented girls. One of them was named Meaghan, who I believe was in Camp Rock. The other girl was named Jamia, and she was the little girl in August Rush! I remember watching Jamia actually on Showtime at the Apollo and Jay Leno when she was 7, so it was so cool! haha. I was blown away by her then, and I am blown away by her now. She was full of energy, and was hilarious too. On Friday I did Radio Disney. I got to visit all the lovely cheerful staff at the Radio Disney station again, and I always love to go there. I performed there again, and got to talk to Ernie D and answer some phone calls on the air. Access Hollywood was there too, and they filmed me singing and doing my interviews there. I also had a little photo shoot for Radio Disney too, just for a few things.Saturday, I performed at one of the events at Sundance, and that was really special because it was the first time I sang a song with my brother accompanying me on guitar. He accompanied me on You Can, and he did great haha. My friends and family got to come along, and we partied and just jammed out to music. We all had a really good time.I then flew out to DC to sing the National Anthem at a Latino Gala event on Sunday, one of the events going on for the week of the inauguration. Some of the performers were War, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz, and Marc Anthony, and I really enjoyed watching them. I got a chance to talk to Jennifer and Marc, and they were some of the coolest people I have ever met! It's awesome because my mom is a huge fan of both of them, and they're both incredibly talented. I love meeting people who are really well known and stuff, and you expect them to act all big and important, when they are some of the most down-to-earth cool people you've ever met haha. That's how they were, and I really respected them for that. And I hope I can sing like Marc when I'm older.So another thing I got to do was go the the Museum of Natural History in DC, which I LOVED! I'm such a fan of things like museums lol. And there was so much to look at there. They had a lot of prehistoric animal skeletons to look at, and I got some pictures so I'll load those up. But seriously, if you live in that area you need to go that museum! It's a lot of fun. Well, at least if you like museums it's fun.Lastly, this is a big week so make sure to keep up with the Inauguration today! I'll write another blog soon.

I first watched it during my trip to Lake Powell during my short break in between The show and tour (and everythingelse.) So good memories lol.

Adele, Senior Ball and Miranda all in 3 days!

Hi all. David here with another blog. So this week I got to go to the Adele concert!! Adele is amazing amazing amazing amazing, and she sounds so good live! James Morrison opened up for her, and he sings with so much soul. It's so weird to see him perform because white people usually don't sing like that haha. But anyway, I loved how Adele didn't move around a whole lot when she performed.She was all about the voice, and didn't try to change that. What's also cool is that it was at the Murray Theater in Murray, my home town! A few of my friends came with me too, so good times haha.This Saturday was another extremely exciting day, because I got to go to Senior Ball at my high school!! I didn't think I'd ever get another chance to go to a school dance, but I asked management and they gave the ok and made time in the schedule for me to go. I had soooo much fun! For our day activity, we had breakfast and then played games. We fit in a lot of them too. We played dodge ball, basketball, musical chairs, apples to apples, and crab soccer. I got a good work out from the crab soccer too haha. We rocked out at the dance too, and even though I sweat so bad it was worth it.The girl I got to go with was awesome too. After the dance we all watched Mall Cop, but I kept falling asleep lol. I was so tired.And I had to wake up early in the morning anyway for a flight.So yesterday, we flew back down to LA, and I did some things for Nickelodeon with Miranda Cosgrove. It was something that involved more lines to say, haha. So I was really nervous before we started, but once we got going I had so much fun! It felt like Miranda and I just hung out all day long, and she's such a nice girl. But yeah, the lines were for Crush Night that's coming up on February 7th! The day of my acting debut.. when the episode of iCarly I'm on airs. It really is so much fun working with all of them on that show. I wasn't sure if I'd get to work with them anytime soon, so when I heard I was going to be working with Miranda Sunday, I was pumped! haha. But yeah, I'll stop talking about that and save it for the week it comes on. But keep that on your calendars! It's a big day haha. Well for me anyway. But yeah I wrote an awfully lot in this blog. But it was a big weekend! Adele, the school dance, and Miranda all in 3 days. But I will post some pictures for you guys. Bye bye.

No se si les habia comentado, creo que talves lo pase por alto, pero mejor tarde que nunca! jeje! Bueno por si algunos no lo saben David siempre nos deja mensajes a sus fans en su Myspace, contandonos un poco sobre que ha hecho ultimamente y poniendonos al dia sobre que hara despues. Hey everyone! It's me again, and I'm just checkin' in with you guys here in New York.... eating grapes... haha. I've gotten a chance to spend more time with my family lately, and it's been sooooo nice catching up with them. It's nice just to hang out and talk, or play video games, or do some music stuff together, or go out for lunch with my brother and sisters. I also got to hang out with my friends, which was also really fun. The governor's inauguration was so cold! But it was a good experience getting to sing for him again, even though the flag kept like hitting me in the face haha. So Utah time was good. Oh! I've also been getting more exercise in, which has felt amazing! I haven't really gotten the chance to go running and stuff for a while, so I was so excited to be able to fit that in. What made it really fun is I got to work out with my friends a lot, and that made it a lot easier to spend more time at the gym or wherever haha. But yeah. I'm in New York for a performance I have at the Hard Rock Cafe, where I'm doing a small set for Bauer Publishing's J-14, M and Twist Magazines. I think some contest winners have been invited too! I love New York, even though it's freezing! I don't deal too well with the Utah cold or the New York cold, so I always have to make sure the heat's blasting in my room. After New York, I'll be heading back to the West coast to LA to do a few more things. But that's all I really have to say for now. See you guys around!

Hola a todos! Soy yo otra vez, y estoy reportandome con ustedes aqui en Nueva York.... comiendo uvas... jaja. He tenido la oportunidad de pasar mas tiempo con mi familia ultimamente, y ha sido taaaaaan genial ponerme al dia con ellos. es grandioso solo pasar el tiempo y hablar, o jugar juegos de video, o hacer cosas relacionadas con la musica juntos, o salir a almorzar con mi hermano y hermanas. Por esto el tiempo que pase en utah fue bueno. Oh! Tambien he estado ejercitandome, y me he sentido increible! No habia tenido la oportunidad de salir a correr o hacer ejercicios desde hace un tiempo, por eso he estado emocionado de poder hacerlo porfin. Lo que lo ha hecho muy divertido ha sido que he salido a ejercitarme con mis amigos, y eso hace mucho mas facil el pasar algun tiempo en el gimnasio o lo que sea jaja. Pero si. Estoy en Nueva York para una presentacion en el Hard Rock Cafe, en donde hare una pequeña actuacion para Bauer Publishing's J-14, M y Twist Magazines. Creo que los participantes que ganaron fueron invitados tambien! Amo Nueva York, apesar de que esta haciendo mucho frio! Yo no manejo muy bien el frio de Utah o el de Nueva York, asi que tengo que asegurarme de que haya mucho calor en mi cuarto.
